Requirements

8+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a focus on building scalable back-end systems and platforms
Deep experience integrating and scaling storage systems, cloud-native services, and related open source projects, including the Kubernetes ecosystem, AWS, and PostgreSQL
Knowledge of common DevOps tools and practices
Firm grasp of quality and security engineering principles. Understanding the "why" behind technical decisions
A vision for what great software and great engineering looks like, and the technical expertise and leadership skills to make that vision a reality
Excellent systems-level thinking – the ability to understand the components of a distributed system and their interactions

Responsibilities

Scale the data processing and storage layer from terabytes to petabytes and beyond, keeping pace with an exponentially growing customer base and dataset
Build and maintain bidirectional, real-time integrations with dozens of EHRs, scaling to hundreds or thousands of integrations
Drive improvements to core systems to unlock 100x growth in the number of practices, patients, and developers relying on the platform
Own cross-functional projects end-to-end, from technical design and decomposition to successful launch and rollout
Partner with engineering leaders and product managers to generate, prioritize, and deliver on ambitious engineering goals
