Requirements

  • Ability to partner with WMT platforms and 4-5 Sam's Club teams and 4-5 WMT teams to deliver capabilities supporting in-house Epsilon support, Artemis migration, and personalization features
  • Ownership of the Audience Builder product, which holds all marketing and personalization audiences
  • Support for external marketing partners and internal teams
  • Expertise in consolidating and standardizing connections to external systems and programmatic exchanges (e.g., WPA, DFP/GAM, ANX, TTD, LiveIntent, Adobe, Pinterest, LiveRamp)
  • Experience providing unified CRUD APIs for operations across third-party systems
  • Knowledge of generating normalized views of campaigns and metrics, insights, and reports in real-time and batch modes
  • Familiarity with collecting and aggregating ad delivery metrics (e.g., real-time impressions, viewability)
  • Ability to partner with Data Science teams on sales lift methodologies (e.g., synthetic control, ghost ads)
  • Experience building and operating data warehouses for analytics and business operations
  • Skills in exposing reports via reporting APIs and data tables
  • Collaboration with engineering and infrastructure teams to build ML and experimentation platforms
  • Ownership of ML models for audience targeting, relevance, and ranking models for ad serving
  • Ownership of lift measurement methodology and support for attribution models and buyer analytics
  • Up-to-date expertise in relevant technologies applicable to development

Responsibilities

  • Assist in providing guidance to a large group of 8-10 engineers, including offshore associates, on assigned projects by providing documents, directions, examples, and timelines
  • Provide support to the business by responding to user questions, concerns, and issues (e.g., technical feasibility, implementation strategies); researching solutions; determining designs; providing guidance on system implications; identifying short- and long-term solutions; and directing users to appropriate contacts
  • Manage small to large-sized complex projects by reviewing requirements; translating them into technical solutions; researching alternatives; determining solutions based on ROI and business value; gathering information (e.g., design documents, product requirements, wireframes)
  • Troubleshoot business and production issues by gathering information (e.g., issue, impact, criticality, root cause); performing root cause analysis; engaging support teams; developing solutions; driving action plans; performing actions; interpreting results; and completing documentation
  • Participate in the discovery phase of small to medium-sized projects to develop high-level designs by partnering with product management, project management, business, and user experience teams
  • Demonstrate and apply up-to-date expertise in development work
