Requirements

Candidates should have 6+ years of software development experience, including technical leadership. Required technical skills include Java (4+ years) and React/TypeScript (3+ years), along with proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL/PostgreSQL/DynamoDB. Experience with AWS cloud services (ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, VPN, RDS), infrastructure as code (AWS CLI, AWS CDK/Terraform), and finance reporting/reconciliation is necessary. Strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

The Staff Software Engineer will design, implement, and maintain the Finance service and internal tooling, including financial reporting and reconciliation. They will develop new APIs and functionalities for large money movements via payment rails like ACH. Responsibilities include scaling the core platform for growth, improving daily operations through automation and tooling, and collaborating with product, analytics, finance, and engineering teams to launch new financial features.
