Proficiency in Golang, React, and payment processing is required, along with a strong understanding of UX principles. The ideal candidate makes well-reasoned design and development trade-offs, can provide high-level advice in related areas, and proactively identifies and plans fixes for inefficient or ineffective code.
The Senior Engineer I will contribute ideas to the technical and product roadmap, estimate effort for initiatives, and collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate requirements into technical implementations. They will proactively solve code challenges, mentor other engineers, and share knowledge. Responsibilities include identifying and addressing tech debt, planning and executing technical roadmaps in coordination with product roadmaps, facilitating meetings with stakeholders, and taking full end-to-end responsibility over complex initiatives.
