Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in Software Engineering and Web application development. A strong understanding of software design, Microservices architecture, object-oriented principles, and design patterns is required. Experience with RoR/Golang/Java, RESTful APIs, cloud services (Azure, AWS), databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), Git, and Agile SDLC is essential. Excellent communication skills are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Staff Software Engineer will design, architect, implement, test, and optimize high-quality software and services using RoR/Golang/Java. They will partner with product managers to analyze requirements and plan execution, document high-level and low-level designs, and perform design and code reviews. The role involves implementing code with high test coverage, cross-training peers, mentoring teammates, and possessing expert knowledge in performance, security, scalability, and architecture. Responsibilities also include functionally decomposing complex problems, collaborating with UX designers, and working with SQL and NoSQL data stores.
