Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field, possess 3-5 years of experience in revenue accounting, and demonstrate a strong understanding of ASC 606 and other relevant accounting standards.
The Staff Revenue Accountant will manage and oversee the billing process, ensuring timely and accurate invoice generation and distribution; develop and implement effective collections strategies to reduce outstanding receivables; regularly review and reconcile customer accounts for accuracy; review revenue contracts to execute and ensure accurate revenue recognition practices; perform close management, including balance sheet reconciliations and income statement flux analysis for revenue transactions; contribute to enhancing revenue accounting processes and leverage technology to improve efficiency and compliance; partner with finance, sales, legal, and other departments to support business initiatives and ensure accurate revenue forecasting and reporting; work with internal and external auditors on revenue matters; and provide insightful revenue reporting and analysis to senior management.
