Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years focused on SaaS revenue accounting, and deep expertise in ASC 606. Prior experience with Salesforce and CPQ tools, proficiency in NetSuite ERP and revenue submodules, and a proven ability to own billing, reconciliations, and GL close processes related to revenue are essential. A track record of working with cross-functional teams, strong Excel and analytical skills, experience leading revenue audits, and knowledge of US sales tax implications are also required. A CPA or equivalent professional certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Revenue Accounting Manager will own the full revenue accounting process, including contract review, billing operations, revenue recognition, month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting, with a focus on complex SaaS products. This role involves drafting technical accounting memos, collaborating with RevOps and Sales on data alignment, partnering with FP&A on revenue forecasting, and reconciling revenue-related accounts. The manager will also drive continuous improvement in the quote-to-cash process, liaise with external auditors, ensure sales tax compliance, support new tool implementations, and lead a revenue accounting team.
