Responsibilities

Act as a role model, mentor, and guide for the pharmacy team, demonstrating excellence and best practices
Deliver patient care including safe dispensing, meaningful counseling, immunizations, and empathy
Support the Pharmacy Manager by quarterbacking the team, overseeing operations during bench shifts as proxy, and assuming day-to-day duties when primary or only pharmacist on duty
Follow and direct team adherence to pharmacy workflow procedures, safety guardrails, legal/regulatory guidelines, and workplace policies
Coach and provide feedback to pharmacy team members on performance, strengthening pharmacy measures
Manage and improve patient health through appropriate practices and resolving insurance/medication issues
Proactively offer immunizations and support technicians in learning to immunize
Manage pharmacy inventory, following best practices with focus on cold chain products
Collaborate with patient's total healthcare team and contribute to positive patient experiences
