Requirements

Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in infrastructure software development, SRE, production engineering, and/or backend service development. A minimum of 5 years of experience in C++ or Go, along with proficiency in a scripting language like Python, is required. Additionally, a deep understanding of Linux, particularly in areas such as bootloaders, connectivity, memory management, filesystems, kernel, and drivers, is essential.

Responsibilities

The Staff Infrastructure Software Engineer will design and build infrastructure to enable safe systems and software delivery for Dexterity in production. They will be part of a multidisciplinary team, set direction for infrastructure quality and reliability, provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, and foster a collaborative work environment. The role also involves leading by example through code reviews and promoting engineering excellence across the Software Platform team, as well as guiding tooling development and optimizing production systems.
