Requirements
Candidates must possess a minimum of 8 years of experience as a software engineer, including spearheading zero-to-one engineering projects, and demonstrate a proven track record of shipping high-quality code in challenging environments. They should have direct experience designing and implementing high-performance systems in production, understanding architectural trade-offs, and familiarity with modern infrastructure stacks such as Kafka and Kubernetes. Strong knowledge of parallel computing concepts and distributed systems is required, along with exceptional problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
As a Staff Software Engineer, you will play a foundational role in designing, implementing, and spearheading the core platform development, which is used by organizations worldwide to deploy and scale executable AI automations in mission-critical production environments. You will help define, architect, and improve key system foundations, drive core technical initiatives, set high-quality foundations in the codebase, and define and scale experimentation, monitoring, reliability, and observability concepts for production systems. Additionally, you will simplify system bottlenecks, proactively re-architect foundational abstractions, and champion high-performance engineering foundations and practices across the codebase, while also helping to improve the Luminai IDE for end users.
