Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 8+ years of relevant industry experience in enterprise application development with a strong focus on Salesforce (SFDC)
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing integrations using Java-based frameworks, Workato, or similar iPaaS solutions
  • Extensive experience with customizable or configurable product lines in a SaaS or enterprise environment
  • 5+ years of experience and a strong structural understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, custom objects, Apex, Lightning, etc.)
  • Expertise with REST/SOAP APIs, ETL processes, and integration best practices
  • Experience with middleware platforms (MuleSoft, Workato, Dell Boomi, or similar)
  • Proficient in system architecture, data modeling, and solution design
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to drive projects from concept to completion
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer II, Integration Architect, Application Architect) - preferred
  • MuleSoft Certified Developer or Workato Automation Pro certifications - preferred
  • Experience in regulated industries (life sciences, manufacturing, etc.) - preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical authority for SFDC and integration initiatives across the organization
  • Architect, design, and implement scalable integrations between Salesforce, ERP systems, and other enterprise applications using MuleSoft, Workato, and related platforms
  • Lead technical design sessions, review design and code, and ensure adherence to best practices and security standards
  • Be 100% hands-on, open to triaging and troubleshooting Production Issues as they surface, working with global business users and dev engineers
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize integration flows to support end-to-end business processes and data synchronization
  • Enable and enhance customizable product lines through robust system integrations and process automation
  • Ensure that integrations are resilient, maintainable, and aligned with business requirements
  • Leverage structural knowledge of ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) to drive integration strategies and process improvements
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Business Operations teams to support configurable product offerings and customer-specific requirements
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts and resolve complex technical issues across systems
