Experience with AWS services such as Databricks, Redshift, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, Spark, and Python is essential. A passion for software engineering and a desire for continuous learning are highly valued.
The Staff Data Engineer will design and implement data pipelines to ingest, process, and visualize data across various projects, developing and maintaining optimal data pipeline architecture using AWS native services. They will design and optimize data models on AWS Cloud utilizing Databricks and AWS data stores, integrating and assembling large datasets to meet business requirements, and processing unstructured data for analysis. The role involves working directly with technology and engineering teams to integrate data processing and business objectives, monitoring and optimizing data performance, uptime, and scale, and maintaining high standards of code quality.
