Requirements

Candidates should possess a recent college graduate status or one year of experience in Accounts Payable, along with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. They must demonstrate an understanding of accounting principles and practices, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications/GSuite. Detail-oriented analytical and problem-solving abilities are required, as is the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Experience with NetSuite and AP Software (Bill, Airbase, etc.) is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for reviewing, coding, and processing vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and proper authorization, researching and resolving invoice discrepancies, and entering invoice data into the accounting system. They will assist with employee expense reporting and reimbursements, maintain organized filing systems for invoices and supporting documentation, perform bank and balance sheet account reconciliations, and support annual audit processes by providing documentation. Additionally, the Staff Accountant will contribute to various ad hoc finance projects, provide support for financial reporting and analysis, and assist with month-end closing activities.
