Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with a CPA being preferred. They should have 2-4 years of accounting experience, including a mix of operational and technical accounting responsibilities, and a strong understanding of GAAP, reconciliation preparation, accounts receivable cycle, and accounts payable cycle. Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, particularly in tech, SaaS, or marketplace businesses, is also required.

Responsibilities

The Staff Accountant will own key aspects of the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines; prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules; maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, investigating variances; oversee daily operations including T&E approvals, banking, accounts payable, and assisting with accounts receivable; support external audit readiness by preparing schedules and addressing auditor inquiries; maintain accounting policies and procedures; and assist with customer, vendor, and internal communication.
