Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience of 5+ years in an accounting role with 2+ years in a senior role. Proficiency with accounting software such as Xero or NetSuite is required, along with intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance processes.

Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, post journal entries, review and record expenses, provide documentation for audits, and identify and recommend process improvements to enhance accounting operations while ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
