Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, with 2-3 years of experience in corporate accounting, a comprehensive foundational understanding of accounting principles and internal controls, and a willingness to learn and grow. Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders are also essential. Bonus points include experience in a Big 4 accounting firm or publicly traded company, process improvement experience, strong Excel skills, and active pursuit of CPA licensure or passing CPA exam sections.
This role involves taking responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of assigned tasks, assisting with core accounting processes such as the monthly close, fixed asset tracking, accruals, prepaid expenses, and lease accounting, following established internal controls, documenting accounting procedures, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, escalating issues as needed, helping identify and implement process improvements, collaborating with FP&A, Treasury, and other teams, supporting audit requests by preparing schedules and documentation, and providing timely, accurate financial data and documentation.
