Requirements

Candidates should possess 7–10 years of UI/UX experience, including agency-side work and in-house digital leadership for a DTC brand, with a strong portfolio showcasing both UX thinking and elevated art direction, ideally within the wellness, beauty, or lifestyle category. They must have deep experience with DTC eCommerce and subscription businesses, proven success improving UX performance metrics (conversion, engagement, retention) while maintaining brand integrity, and a strong understanding of user flows, information architecture, and mobile-first responsive design. Furthermore, experience with Figma, prototyping tools, and user testing platforms is required, alongside excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to clearly articulate design rationale to non-design partners.

Responsibilities

The Senior UI/UX Manager will own the end-to-end UI/UX strategy and execution for Nutrafol’s DTC website and digital ecosystem, translating brand strategy and product positioning into world-class digital experiences that convert and retain customers. They will lead UX research, wire framing, prototyping, and user testing to improve site usability and flow, provide art direction for the site ensuring a consistently elevated visual presentation, collaborate cross-functionally with brand, growth, retention and creative teams to optimize site performance, guide and mentor internal and agency partners, and maintain a high bar for design quality and UX thinking across the full funnel—acquisition, onboarding, routine-building, and post-purchase. The role also involves leading A/B testing and UX experimentation, and acting as a strategic thought partner to stakeholders across growth, brand, and product.
