Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in human factors, UX, or UI design, and have at least 3 years of professional UI design and UX experience on a commercial browser-based SaaS product, along with 1+ years of Figma Design Experience. Experience designing and working on component-driven user interfaces and leveraging atomic design is also required, as is experience working in an agile/scrum-based development process and with other UI/UX designers. Prior hands-on web application development experience (CSS, HTML, JavaScript, React) and experience designing for Accessibility (WCAG 2.x AA/AAA) are considered beneficial.

Responsibilities

The Product UI/UX Designer will collaborate with other designers and product managers to translate product requirements and our roadmap into clear, user-friendly designs that drive adoption, engagement, and satisfaction. They will collaborate directly with product managers to translate our product roadmap and product requirements into simple and clean user experiences and designs, and collaborate with engineers in agile scrum teams to drive design concepts forward through implementation, including developing wireframes and UI Prototypes using Figma, including CSS specifications. The designer will enhance and help maintain the PerformYard UI design system, and also contribute to enhancing and evolving the design system and UI component library.
