Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of client support, sales or marketing experience in the cell and gene therapy space or equivalent experience
  • Deep scientific knowledge and comprehensive understanding of DNA, mRNA, and protein manufacturing
  • Creative problem-solving ability and solutions building skillset
  • Up to 25% travel for on-site client or lead meetings, conferences, and trade shows

Responsibilities

  • Support the sales team and clients by providing expert guidance on scientific concepts and cell and gene therapy applications
  • Drive revenue growth and enhance product quality and innovation by delivering strategic feedback to business units and relevant internal stakeholders
  • Ensure sales targets are consistently met in partnership with Inside Sales, Business Development, and Global Strategic Account Teams, leveraging consultative selling techniques
  • Establish the technical needs of clients and suggest appropriate Aldevron products and solutions
  • Explain complex technical and scientific information to customers in an easily understandable way
  • Represent Aldevron as a scientific expert at trade shows and conferences, speaking broadly on Aldevron solutions
  • Partner with Business Unit Leaders, Sales Leaders, and Marketing Leaders to address industry shifts, scientific updates, and voice of customer feedback
