Candidates must have over 5 years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of building and delivering products for developers, such as APIs, infrastructure, or platform services. A strong technical background with hands-on experience in software engineering, SRE, or infrastructure/cloud architecture is essential, along with deep knowledge of the public cloud ecosystem, particularly AWS, and broad experience with various datastore technologies. Excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the competitive landscape are also required.
The Sr. Technical Product Manager will own the vision and roadmap for core workload assets, acting as the single-threaded owner for technologies including managed datastores, cloud-native services on AWS, and on-premise data solutions. Responsibilities include defining and delivering a multi-year vision, acting as the primary liaison between the Platform team and internal developers, translating technical requirements into a prioritized backlog, championing the platform's vision across the organization, managing the asset lifecycle from evaluation to deprecation, defining and analyzing success metrics, and collaborating with stakeholders in security, compliance, finance, and application development.
