Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in statistics, biostatistics, computer science, or a related field, with at least 4 years of experience in statistical programming. Proficiency in SAS, R, or Python is required, along with experience in clinical trials or research studies and knowledge of CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and effective communication are essential. The role requires the ability to lead and mentor junior programmers and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship and pass a background check including a drug screening. This position is for the West Coast of the US only.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Statistical Programmer will provide advanced programming support and lead complex data analysis projects. They will develop and validate complex statistical programs, conduct quality control checks on data and analysis outputs, and optimize programming processes and methodologies. Responsibilities include coding SAS programs for clinical trial data analysis and submission, documenting programming activities, providing technical guidance to junior programmers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, reviewing statistical analysis plans, and troubleshooting programming issues.
