Requirements

Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant Quality Assurance experience, with at least 2 years specifically focused on Workday testing, particularly within Core HCM and its integrations. A strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes is essential, along with excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Preferred qualifications include a Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) certification and familiarity with test automation tools and Agile/Scrum methodologies. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is also required.

Responsibilities

The Quality Assurance Engineer will develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Workday Core HCM modules and integrations, performing end-to-end testing across Workday modules and connected systems to validate business processes and data flows. They will identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with developers and analysts for resolution. Furthermore, this role involves evaluating and improving QA processes, tools, and standards, partnering with automation engineers to optimize test coverage, providing input into QA strategy and timelines, monitoring testing progress, reporting on quality metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including HRIS, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure test coverage and alignment with business requirements.
