Requirements

Ability to successfully manage multiple multi-million-dollar AMI & AMR projects with turnkey responsibility
Strong understanding of project contractual obligations and compliance
Capability to develop and direct overall project schedules while mentoring other Project Managers and Associate Project Managers
Proficiency in maintaining project schedules, meeting deadlines and milestones
Skills in generating and managing scope of work/project plans in accordance with contractual requirements
Experience managing subcontractors and subcontracts, identifying cost savings, and building strong relationships
Ability to manage positive relationships with subcontractors and customers to achieve high net promoter scores
Competence in monitoring project progress and generating regular status reports to stakeholders
Capacity to meet or improve on project cost targets
Ability to support accurate forecasting of project revenues (monthly, quarterly, yearly)
Skills in reporting project financial performance and conducting full financial analysis at closure
Experience managing internal and external project resources
Knowledge to ensure quality and safety objectives are achieved
Proficiency in documenting all work timely and accurately (e.g., emails, meeting minutes, reports, expenses)
Strong project leadership to motivate internal teams, subcontractors, distributors, and customers
Ability to obtain customer acceptance for deliverables
Strong relationship-building with internal teams, customers, and subcontractors
Sense of urgency regarding deadlines

Responsibilities

Understand project contractual obligations and ensure compliance
Develop and direct overall project schedule while supporting and mentoring other Project Managers and Associate Project Managers
Maintain project schedule, meet deadlines and milestones
Generate and manage scope of work/project plans per contractual requirements
Manage subcontractors and subcontracts, identify cost savings, and develop relationships with Badger Meter subcontractors
Manage positive relationships with subcontractors and customers to achieve best net promoter score
Monitor overall project progress and generate regular status reports to internal and external stakeholders
Meet, and when possible, improve on project cost targets
Support forecasting accurate project revenues monthly, quarterly, and yearly
Support reporting projects’ financial performance to stakeholders and full financial analysis at closure
Manage assigned project resources internally and externally
Ensure quality and safety objectives for the project are achieved
Document all work timely and accurately (e.g., email, meeting agendas/minutes, trip reports, monthly reporting, expenses)
Provide project leadership and motivate team members (internal, subcontractors, distributors, customers) toward common goals
Obtain customer acceptance for all deliverables
Serve as the face of Badger Meter for turnkey projects, ensuring successful delivery of customized service solutions
Lead by example, mentoring and coaching other Project Managers and Associate Project Managers
