Requirements

  • Education: Chemical Engineer or related
  • Experience leading people
  • Knowledge of techniques: UV-Vis molecular spectroscopy, Raman, FTIR, optical emissions such as X-rays, NIR
  • Minimum 5 years as a product specialist
  • Languages: English, Spanish, and Portuguese
  • Travel: 50% of the month throughout Latin America

Responsibilities

  • Support marketing, direct management, and commercial management in crafting, implementing, and supporting the commercial strategy for the products under your responsibility
  • Participate in the execution of these strategic actions
  • Attain the targets set for the business units you oversee
  • Provide forecasts and a list of key projects in the territory and provide information to the area manager on market trends, distributor performance, important projects, and key customer development
  • Supervise competitor activities and propose tactics or strategies
  • Answer technical and application questions in support of sales opportunities and conduct routine field training with the sales team
  • Provide field demonstrations and installation support for assigned products
  • Build and deliver technical presentations to potential customers addressing product applications to support sales and actively participate in order prioritization with the factory that manufactures your products
