Strong collaboration skills with line supervisor, Quality Engineer, and operators
Accountability for quality, output, and yield of assigned manufacturing line
Experience as engineering management representative, executing initiatives and working with direct labor workforce
Role potentially as sustaining engineer for the department
Senior-level experience as subject matter expert in site products and processes
Expert in statistics, product, and engineering processes
Mid to advanced level proficiency in Solidworks for modeling/drafting assemblies, fixtures, and tools
Knowledge of procedures related to equipment controls

Responsibilities

Responsible for assigned line output, safety, yield, and quality
Identify product defects and determine operational/process actions to reduce defects, including equipment troubleshooting and work order requests
Work with line support team (QC supervisor, Mfg. Supervisor, Quality Engineer, Operations) for on-line issue triage, evaluate non-conformance, bracketing/containment, and generate CAPAs
Maintain product/process knowledge and understanding of cause/effect of line changes
Provide engineering fixes like tooling (TLTs) and manufacturing aids from idea to implementation
Support technicians and supervisors in equipment availability issues
Support Training and Certification Program and improve trainings/certifications
Determine quality impact of Out-of-Tolerance documents
Execute line-related change management (material, equipment, process changes)
