Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience, with a minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience. Responsibilities

The Sr. Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist will cover a large territory in Brooklyn, NY, focusing on a defined target list of physicians and practitioners. Responsibilities include building disease awareness, understanding treatment initiation processes, and supporting patient identification. The role involves collaborating with partners on prior authorization, payor restrictions, reimbursement, and patient referrals to ensure patient access. Sales growth will be driven through impactful territory planning and engaging communications, managing the sales budget, and employing business planning and local market knowledge to develop sales and customer networks. Building relationships with partners and communities to understand treatment algorithms and business dynamics is key. The specialist will implement compliant programs to enhance customer satisfaction and sales, visit customers according to their importance, manage accounts for all business aspects, develop strong customer and opinion leader relations, and participate in meetings and events. Action plans will be established and presented to achieve sales targets, with progress tracked and communicated. The role requires staying informed about market evolution, coordinating trainings and product presentations, and prospecting for new accounts and growth opportunities.
