Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field (preferred)
Industry certifications such as CCNP or CCIE (preferred)
Industry certifications such as Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP) or Fortinet Certified Expert (FCX) (preferred)
5+ years of experience in enterprise network support and project execution
Extensive hands-on experience with next-generation firewalls (Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto)

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and manage network switches, routers, load balancers, and firewalls (Fortinet & Palo Alto)
Maintain border security systems, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS)
Troubleshoot and resolve network security issues, including firewall rule base creation, VPN configuration, NAT, and high availability (HA) setup
Upgrade and optimize network devices, performing hardware refreshes and software updates
Ensure network stability, flexibility, and security while documenting configurations and installations
Provide technical support, monitoring, and configuration management for enterprise networks
Maintain on-premise office network infrastructure and implement necessary changes
Develop and implement IP communication systems, including advanced routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)
Utilize network monitoring and performance testing tools (e.g., Zabbix, Grafana, Iperf) to proactively detect and resolve issues
Assist in troubleshooting network-related incidents by working closely with support teams and end users
Engage with customers via phone or email to diagnose and resolve network issues efficiently
Participate in network engineering projects, providing expertise in planning and execution
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless network operations and business continuity
Work with IT service management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, and ITSM, integrating automation and revision control into workflows
