Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Biology
  • Minimum 7 years of work experience in a commercial role/customer-facing job (sales, marketing, product management, modality)
  • At least 3 years of people leader experience in a life sciences or healthcare field
  • Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within an organization
  • Solid product management and portfolio knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Shape Product Portfolio Strategy including persona analysis, product VPP, segmentation, product commercial strategy building, product gap identification, and NPD plan build up
  • Enhance Product Brand Promotion with MKT team: Enhance visibility and perception of Cytiva and Lab ÄKTA branding and capabilities, e.g., co-build Demo Lab with KOL and PIs; represent the company at conferences and technical exhibitions
  • Execute Product commercial execution: Financial and demand forecast, Install Base/Win Rate/Funnel analysis, KPI bowler tracking to deliver yearly targets; accountable for Product order and sales OP target for greater China; provide updates on company, region product strategies, and customer insights
  • Lead Sales Tools and Training: Provide sales team and channel partners with tools, training, and resources to improve sales efficiency and effectiveness
  • Team Management: Manage ~10 AKTA experts (Scientists, PhDs) for fixing product issues on customer sites; implement team standard work, culture building, resources management, talent development, performance management; provide regular feedback, coaching, annual appraisals; conduct "infield coaching" sessions; create opportunities for best practice sharing; role-model use of Cytiva resources and networks
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional and global teams to solve problems or identify opportunities
  • Drive Localization process and Innovation: Advance localization, integrate regional insights into product development (BC preparation, global alignment, Want workshops, VPM activities)
  • Participate or lead DBS Kaizen Events
  • Ensure Compliance: Adhere to international/local regulations, Cytiva/Danaher policies, codes, and training; identify/report quality/compliance concerns and take corrective action
