The Sr Mgr - APAC Regional Operations must have experience in technology support, issue resolution, operational monitoring, and engineering functions within Asia. This role requires the ability to partner with senior business leaders and global operations centers to develop IS strategies consistent with global standards. Experience in employee development, including performance management, coaching, and training, is necessary. The position also requires the ability to coordinate and lead tactical and strategic planning, and participate in IT budgeting and cross-functional improvement initiatives. A thorough understanding of the technical aspects of applications and systems is essential, along with the ability to develop new procedures and exercise independent judgment in problem resolution.
The Sr Mgr - APAC Regional Operations will provide direct leadership for IS operations in Asia, ensuring efficient coordination of technology support, issue resolution, operational monitoring, and engineering. This role involves managing the deployment, monitoring, technical support, and IT maintenance processes for the Asia Liaison Office network. Responsibilities include collaborating with and guiding CDT activities for China Direct, Japan, and Korea, and serving as the primary contact between Headquarters teams and IT projects/support in Asia. The manager will proactively partner with global technology leaders and the Global Operations Center, establish a culture of continuous process improvement, and lead employee development initiatives. They will ensure appropriate service levels are maintained for Asia IT business partners, build relationships with these partners, and coordinate strategic planning for Asia-based Liaison offices. The role also involves closely partnering with the Global Operations Center for incident management and jointly establishing key performance indicators. Additionally, the manager will evaluate software used by teams and participate in reviews of systems impacting Asia Operations.
