Responsibilities

The Sr. Manufacturing Manager will lead the Liquid Manufacturing Department for biopharmaceutical products, focusing on meeting customer needs in a regulated environment. Responsibilities include coordinating all manufacturing operations across the Liquid Value Stream, ensuring peak efficiency, and developing operations and manufacturing leadership teams. The role involves driving EHS in manufacturing to achieve world-class metrics, establishing and improving processes for timely, cost-effective, and quality production, and assessing resource needs. The manager will provide leadership to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, drive performance to exceed financial targets, and establish key performance indicators. Developing a succession strategy, mentoring leaders, partnering with HR on hiring and training, and conducting performance reviews are also key duties. Additionally, the manager will lead department budgeting, scheduling, and operating metrics, identify projects for profitability improvement, implement risk management practices, and ensure effective transfers of new products into production.
