Requirements

  • Robust and demonstrable experience in developing, implementing and delivery of market access and health economic strategies and materials
  • Solid understanding of Market Access processes and payer needs and strategies
  • Affinity and solid understanding of pricing dynamics that impact the Gilead portfolio, and drive to raise the bar on current practices
  • Demonstrates accountability, a mindset that works through uncertainty, delivers to expectations and exhibits a sense of urgency on critical time-dependent issues
  • Capability to network, build strong and credible relationships with internal colleagues and payer stakeholders
  • Strong teamwork and facilitation, effective working in matrix environment and managing cross functional responsibilities
  • Ability to seamlessly bridge strategic vision with operational execution, ensuring alignment between long-term objectives and on-the-ground implementation
  • At least 5 years’ experience in relevant field

Responsibilities

  • Lead the market access, reimbursement and EPS access strategies for Gilead Portfolio in collaboration with external and internal partners
  • Engage and leverage network with EPS and other relevant market access stakeholders at operational and decision-making levels to address coding, portfolio monitoring within the EPS, manage tenders, or any information needs that ensure the positioning of Gilead's portfolio within the EPS
  • Identify and address market access barriers for Gilead portfolio at all levels of the EPS and resolve them
  • Work together with the Brand teams of Virology and Oncology to develop compelling value propositions, access strategies and appropriate tools that enable access solutions which result in outcomes benefiting patients and Gilead, understanding the different payer archetypes and its ecosystems
  • Support the field team in presenting pharmacoeconomic results, economic models, and value messaging for Gilead’s strategic portfolio products
  • Lead and implement pricing strategies and initiatives as well as innovative agreements with EPS in alignment with local procedures and consistent with the global pricing strategy
  • Establish working relationships with all relevant functions across Gilead, providing strategic inputs for the development of the overall brand strategy and delivery of robust plan of action for all cross-functional stakeholders
  • Support the development of account plans with the cross functional teams in key accounts to maximize and ensure access for Gilead products
  • Strategically co-lead with the Government Affairs lead the analysis and leadership-level discussions on changes in the Colombian healthcare system, assessing their potential impact on Gilead’s portfolio positioning and market strategy
