Requirements

Solid understanding of mechatronic disciplines, including maintenance and repair methodologies as well as Process Controls Network
Ability to recognize hazard conditions, take appropriate workplace safety measures, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
Full knowledge and understanding of all aspects of equipment operation in Packaging and Device Assembly (DAP) lines
Capability to provide 24-hour emergency response

Responsibilities

Ensure optimal performance of Packaging lines and Device Assembly lines by minimizing service interruptions and overseeing repair and maintenance of all process equipment
Supervise a group of Technicians working rotating shifts to cover 24/7 operations
Ensure adherence to the Maintenance Program, including performance and documentation of all preventative, corrective, and general maintenance
Define and support continuous improvement programs
Provide leadership for the Operations and Flow Team, utilizing MSOEs to ensure compliance with cGMPs, people, processes, and equipment capabilities
Support capital projects and ensure operations comply with European equipment safety directives, cGMPs, EPA, and OSHA regulations
Promote Safety Culture and oversee job-related equipment maintenance, health, and safety risks
Lead and mentor Technicians on shift, fostering technical expertise, team cohesion, effective communication, operational excellence, and professional development
Provide technical expertise to assist Technicians in troubleshooting equipment problems
Review/evaluate corrective and emergency work orders for trends and initiate Change Controls and SOPs as applicable
Supervise maintenance Technicians in performance and completion of Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Activities accurately and timely
Own the maintenance program, its definition and execution
Set up equipment obsolescence review, define and implement a recovery plan
Establish and manage the maintenance budget within allocated limits
Manage outside contractors, ensure they are properly trained, and document training before work is performed
