Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or related fields

Responsibilities

  • Drive HR, Payroll & Design System XD strategy as a strategic leader, aligning with J&J’s business priorities and values
  • Inspire and grow a high performing, people-centric XD domain, while advocating for design at senior leadership levels
  • Execute strategic partner utilization for elastic demand leveraging key strategic vendors
  • Partner with leaders across HR, Payroll and Global Communications and Brand Operations stakeholders of JNJ Global Digital Design System to co-create integrated, scalable experience solutions
  • Facilitate alignment across diverse stakeholder groups through design sprints, workshops, and co-creation sessions
  • Oversee the creation of design artifacts and frameworks – including personas, journey maps, service blueprints and prototypes – across key touchpoints
  • Deliver and manage Experience Design Solutions including the Global Design System
  • Ensure digital accessibility principles are embedded in all design outputs
  • Attract, hire, and retain superior design talent to support product teams across functions, regions, and sectors
  • Guide and mentor XD leaders, designers, and non-designers to support development and upskill design thinking capabilities
  • Foster a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning
  • Establish career latticing structures and professional development pathways for design talent
  • Lead through change and demonstrate experience with turnaround successes
  • Lead and facilitate the business unit/function Quarterly Business Reviews to ensure correct prioritization, objectives and key results for the domains
  • Establish KPIs and feedback loops to measure experience outcomes and continuously improve
  • Use data-driven storytelling to communicate insights, demonstrate design value and influence enterprise-wide adoption
  • Evolve, conceptualize, and communicate new insights using storytelling techniques
