Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Proven track record of at least 3-5 years in strategic partnerships, business development, or related roles within the technology industry
  • Strong understanding of technology trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and nurture relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to drive initiatives to successful completion
  • Experience in analyzing complex business and financial data to inform decision-making
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Willingness to travel

Responsibilities

  • Handle end-to-end negotiations for new deals and renewals with partners
  • Collaborate with BD leadership and Legal on negotiating strategy and tactics
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy that supports the company's growth objectives, focusing on key areas of technology collaboration, joint ventures, and alliances
  • Identify potential partners, evaluate their alignment with our goals, and prioritize opportunities based on strategic fit and potential impact
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential partners, including technology companies, startups, industry associations, and academic institutions
  • Initiate discussions, negotiations, and agreements to establish mutually beneficial partnerships that drive innovation and business growth
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure contracts and agreements meet regulatory and compliance standards
  • Work closely with product, engineering, marketing, sales, and other teams to define partnership requirements, objectives, and integration plans
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and partners, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the partnership lifecycle
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential partnership opportunities and stay ahead of emerging trends
  • Develop business cases and presentations to articulate the strategic rationale, potential benefits, and ROI of proposed partnerships
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for each partnership to track performance and measure the impact on business growth
  • Regularly review and report on partnership performance, making recommendations for optimization and improvement
