Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and have at least 7 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a strong focus on cloud environments. Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines is essential, along with a solid understanding of DevOps principles and automation tools.
As a Sr. Infrastructure Engineer at AKASA, you will be responsible for managing and improving the infrastructure that supports AKASA’s SaaS applications, including Kubernetes, Terraform-managed cloud resources, and GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines. You will contribute to monitoring and observability efforts, ensuring systems are well-instrumented, and collaborate with software engineers to embed reliability best practices across the development lifecycle. Additionally, you will proactively reduce operational toil, improve system visibility, and enable product teams to move quickly with confidence, while also participating in incident response when necessary and attending co-working days at the South San Francisco office every Wednesday.
