Ashby is seeking its first Go-to-Market Engineer to join our rapidly expanding Revenue Operations team. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in marketing ops, revenue ops, solutions engineering, product, or demand generation who are highly technical and excel at systems thinking. You will be responsible for reimagining and automating GTM processes, leveraging new tools and technologies to enhance personalization, iteration, and data flow. About this Role

Reporting to the Head of Revenue Operations, you will serve as a strategic partner to all GTM teams, with a particular focus on Marketing. You are motivated by building automations to magnify impact, enjoy working with integrations, workflows, AI, and new tools, and have a passion for scaling processes at a growth-stage SaaS company. You will collaborate closely with Content, Demand Generation, and Events teams to ensure effective campaign management, systems integration, and analytics. Additionally, you will maintain robust data management and lead scoring programs to support our marketing, sales, and revenue operations professionals. This role is for someone who not only supports process management but actively automates manual processes.

Responsibilities

Marketing Technology Stack & Automation:

  • Architect Ashby’s MarTech stack, encompassing tools, workflows, data, and integrations. Current tools include HubSpot, Clay, Cargo, UserGems, Dreamdata, Instantly, and Relevance AI.
  • Stay on the cutting edge by owning the research and evaluation of new tools and technologies to augment the MarTech stack.
  • Write and maintain simple scripts using basic JavaScript, Python, and SQL for tasks like normalizing data fields or copying data between systems.

Data Management & Analysis:

  • Own the quality and governance of GTM data, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems.
  • Maintain the deal source attribution model to optimize marketing investments.
  • Capture buyer intent in partnership with the Demand Generation team, maintaining CRM Account, Contact, and Intent Signals.
  • Enrich the CRM to support Account-Based Marketing (ABM) efforts.
  • Uncover key insights by creating reports, interpreting trends, and providing actionable recommendations.

Campaign Operations & Reporting:

  • Measure marketing campaign performance by collaborating with Content, Demand Generation, and Events teams to execute and measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Automate data ingestion and integration into HubSpot post-campaign.
  • Build processes that enable Marketing teams to self-service campaign data management.

Requirements

  • Experience in marketing operations, revenue operations, solutions engineering, product, or demand generation.
  • Highly technical with strong systems thinking capabilities.
  • Proven ability to reimagine and automate processes.
  • Experience with tools like ChatGPT, Clay, Zapier, and similar technologies.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working with integrations, workflows, AI, and new tools.
  • Passion for connecting dots to scale processes in a growth-stage SaaS company.
  • Experience with HubSpot, Clay, Cargo, UserGems, Dreamdata, Instantly, and Relevance AI is a plus.
  • Familiarity with basic JavaScript, Python, and SQL for data manipulation.
