Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of professional Supply Chain/Logistics experience
  • 3+ years of working experience with SAP and/or other ERP systems
  • 2+ years of working experience with Power BI preferred
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to urgent requests/inquiries with minimal supervisory involvement
  • Broad understanding of supply chain processes, procedures and internal structure and partners
  • Analytical mindset with the drive to identify root cause issues
  • Proactive and assertive in follow through with customers and business partners
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize essential tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to apply experience and knowledge to provide creative solutions to problems
  • Business Acumen: Understands best practices; is aware of the differences between the company and its competition in the supported function. Understands how their own functional area integrates with others to deliver results

Responsibilities

  • Ensures LSPs meet performance and service standards and communicate root cause for service risks and failures
  • Creates comprehensive metrics to measure and manage LSP performance and report monthly and quarterly KPIs to internal and external partners
  • Collaborates internally to identify process-improvement opportunities and supports the implementation of enterprise-wide and department-priority programs to ensure the success of the company
  • Supports and develops international transportation analyses for the RFP process and bid negotiations
  • Partners to oversee LSP relationships with freight partners
  • Partners to oversee business review process with LSPs
  • Provides LSPs with business requirements and monitors performance
  • Collaborates with LSPs and ocean carriers to ensure accurate booking allocations are being followed
  • Creates and publishes monthly analytics and KPIs with all stakeholders
  • Analyzes potential solutions, quantifies trade-off considerations, and implements cross-functional processes
  • Builds processes and partners cross-functionally to strengthen new ideas for growth and generates stakeholder alignment and commitment
  • Drives results while maintaining a positive, collaborative, and team-oriented approach
