Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with at least 2 years of Workday functional implementation experience. A minimum of 2-5 years of experience with financial software, ERP, or SaaS software implementation is required. Proficiency in business processes such as general ledger, budgeting, cash management, grant management, procure-to-pay, expense management, and order-to-cash is essential. Prior experience leading or managing teams is mandatory. Report writing experience and/or Workday Financials certification are highly desired. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates a commitment to detail and exceptional customer service, possesses strong communication and presentation skills, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and is willing to travel on-site if needed.

Responsibilities

The Workday Financials Principal Consultant will guide clients through Workday implementation phases, including transformation, implementation, and operation. Responsibilities include becoming a Workday Financials expert in design, configuration, testing, and implementation. Consultants will recommend solutions based on client requirements, budget, and timeframe, adapting scope as needed. They will lead design sessions, advise on configuration decisions based on best practices, and support clients throughout project phases to ensure a smooth transition from legacy systems. The role involves performing multiple tasks under limited direction, keeping clients and teams informed of project progress, and actively participating in training and knowledge sharing.
