Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Business Information Systems, or a related field. Previous Workday experience is strongly preferred, along with knowledge of Internet technology and Enterprise Resource Planning. A practitioner background in HR, Finance, or Payroll is required, and PMP certification is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

The Workday Associate Engagement Manager will support client, company, and team accomplishments by managing key project deliverables such as charters, project/staffing plans, and issue logs. They will drive client engagement, communicate and address budget or resourcing constraints, and ensure project success and profitability. Responsibilities include becoming an expert in Workday's Implementation Methodology, demonstrating product suite knowledge (HCM, Payroll, Financials), ensuring proper project planning and staffing, and supporting senior managers on larger projects. They will also work with the client project manager to resolve issues impacting scope or timelines, ensure delivery within SOW budget, maintain compliance with checkpoints, assist in transitioning clients to product support, and ensure clients can serve as references. Additionally, they will track issues and risks, communicate status, escalate concerns, present at Executive Steering Committee meetings, identify and escalate change orders, and participate in sales cycles by gathering requirements, formulating delivery approaches, and developing proposals.
