Requirements

Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in event management, preferably within B2B technology or cybersecurity, and a proven track record of planning and executing high-impact tradeshows, conferences, and owned events. Strong project management skills for handling multiple complex events simultaneously, excellent collaboration abilities for working with cross-functional and global stakeholders, and experience managing large budgets and vendor relationships are essential. Candidates should also possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be willing to travel up to 30% annually for events. Familiarity with open source communities and engaging both technical and business audiences is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Events Manager will plan, manage, and execute SpecterOps' participation in major cybersecurity tradeshows, national conferences, and flagship events like SO-CON. This role involves partnering with internal teams to design compelling event experiences, coordinating booth design, collateral, demos, and on-site activities, and managing event budgets, contracts, timelines, vendors, and all logistics. The manager will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Community teams to align event activities with business goals, track and report on event performance and ROI, and build relationships with event organizers, partners, and sponsors. Responsibilities also include overseeing lead capture and post-event follow-up, and staying current with industry event trends and best practices.
