Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
  • Printing or manufacturing experience with proficiency in computer operations including transferring data, MS Excel, Outlook, and file management
  • Mechanically inclined with ability to accurately read measurements, troubleshoot issues, identify solutions for label constructions, perform roll splicing using manual equipment, and operate computerized digital inkjet equipment
  • Able to lift 40-50 lbs. without assistance
  • Able to stand, move about, reach, bend, stoop, grasp, and understand chemical hygiene
  • Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
  • Ability to work in environment with loud noises and wear PPE (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.)
  • Diligent, organized, capable of handling confidential information, and presenting professionally

Responsibilities

  • Set-up computerized digital equipment print production runs using proprietary software per Department SOP’s and WI’s
  • Set up automated computer-controlled coordinated vision inspection system
  • Inspect printed material during production and adjust controls for printing mistakes
  • Print personalized sheets from rolls using sophisticated printing technology
  • Perform inline die cut process on printed rolls using magnetic tooling, cutting sheets to variable sizes following digitally produced register marks
  • Build printed sheets following specifications on job order and customer profile, meeting quality and construction specifications per Clinical Trial Industry and cGMP standards
  • Monitor and troubleshoot operations during runs and process rejects according to Work Instructions
  • Use hand tools and equipment including forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, and pulling
  • Lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted
