Requirements

  • College Degree required or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years’ experience in EDR solutions such as Carbon Black, Crowdstrike, and Microsoft Defender in customer environments
  • 5+ years IT Experience in customer delivery/customer service
  • 5 Technical Industry Standard Certifications in Security and/or Network
  • Network and/or Security Operations Center Industry Experience
  • Relevant industry qualification where applicable
  • Working knowledge of IDS/IPS, VPN Technologies, Authentication Software, Microsoft and Citrix environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills in a technical environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Software and hardware knowledge of computing, storage and peripheral devices
  • Advanced proficiency with case management databases and tools
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Telephone and remote support experience, E-support experience, knowledge, and resolution ability
  • Knowledge and confidence to act as point of expertise and trusted advisor for peers and customers
  • Understand and utilize Information Technology Information Library (ITIL)
  • Comfortable managing technical issues as well as customer business impact

Responsibilities

  • Implementing MDR Security technologies in customer environments (e.g., Carbon Black, Crowdstrike, Microsoft Defender MDR)
  • Providing on-going run support of implemented technologies
  • Working changes based on standard service measures and Change Management guidelines
  • Providing technical training to other Support Team members
  • Mentoring junior members of the team
  • Troubleshooting change implementation problems
  • Documenting customer infrastructure, configuration, and processes
  • Liaising with vendors to support customer devices and environments
  • Allocating tasks to staff
  • Organizing holidays and training
  • Discussing and resolving problems
  • Evaluating and implementing unique or complex MDR Security Endpoint technologies in customer environments
  • Reviewing and resolving complex business issues
  • Engaging team members for support to ensure SLAs are met
  • Acting as a mentor and guide for other employees
  • Providing direction and guidance to process improvements
  • Articulating clearly, recommending, and explaining resolutions and enhancements to clients
  • Reporting to management
  • Ensuring performance of staff is of a high standard
  • Leading technical action plans or providing expertise to teams or projects
