Requirements

  • Experience in developing and leading end-to-end product teams, establishing partnerships with engineering leadership, and defining product development and digital strategy
  • Strategic responsibility for performance, efficiency, and leadership of product teams
  • Ability to collaboratively create and foster product vision, drive product strategy, discovery, design, research, experimentation, agile project development, and enablement
  • Senior executive presence to role model positive culture, bridge start-up and enterprise mindsets, and represent the team as Global Head of Product to executive leadership
  • Deep understanding of customer needs (internal and external) through quantitative and qualitative data
  • Knowledge of competitive landscape in Sysco Corporation and food distribution industry trends to shape digital product strategy
  • Capability to hold executive leadership accountable to strategic direction and product standards, prepare and drive Steering Committee meetings, and display executive presence in interactions with c-level stakeholders
  • Experience representing product development activities across engineering, SRE, and data workstreams
  • Skills in marketing Digital Commerce products, evangelizing the portfolio, interacting with customers, relaying value/benefits, sourcing feedback, and assessing reception
  • Proficiency in leveraging data, analytics, and experimentation for strategic decisions and leading Continuous Improvement
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for present and future product development efforts
  • Direct the design, development, and enhancement of new and existing products
  • Drive business cases for the Digital Commerce team for AGP and LRP planning
  • Partner with Engineering to set product and development strategy and vision, balancing productivity and customer experience
  • Lead the product team to deeply understand customer needs and provide overwhelming value
  • Use competitive landscape and industry trends to shape digital product strategy
  • Work with executive leadership to ensure accountability to strategic direction and product standards; prepare and drive Steering Committee meetings (e.g., Shop)
  • Display executive presence in internal/external interactions and represent Digital Commerce for product development activities
  • Market Digital Commerce products, act as lead evangelist, interact with customers, relay value/benefits, source feedback, and assess reception/experience
  • Leverage data for strategic decisions with analytics and experimentation; lead Continuous Improvement for Digital Commerce and Presence
  • Lead, drive, and manage the product lifecycle from inception to release, overseeing Head of Product, UX Design, UX/Competitive Research, Agile Project Management, Product Operations, and Product Enablement teams
  • Oversee implementation of product design and development policies, objectives, and initiatives
  • Manage product team prioritization process, converting inputs from customers, prospects, partners, sales, engineering, market trends, and competitors into market-driven features/functions deliverable internally or via third parties
  • Lead UX Design, Research/Competitive Analysis to capture voice of the customer (VOC) and develop insights; develop and enhance related processes
