Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, chemistry, engineering, physics, or equivalent. MBA is preferred
  • 15+ years Marketing/Corporate Strategy Experience with 8+ years leadership experience from related industries
  • Exposure to Government relations or External affairs
  • Proven experience leading sophisticated commercial organizations with full P&L accountability, ideally within the life sciences, healthcare, or adjacent industries
  • Proven track record in developing and delivering growth strategies, improving customer engagement, and leading all aspects of diverse go-to-market models, SEA experience preferred
  • Proven record of managing a sophisticated, matrix organization in a multinational context

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Vice President, SEA and Country GMs to define and implement the region’s growth strategy
  • Lead critical initiatives to drive productivity, operational efficiency, and commercial performance
  • Coordinate cross-divisional teamwork to leverage Thermo Fisher’s breadth and capabilities
  • Lead all aspects of tracking strategy execution, ensuring landmarks and turning points are delivered on time
  • Support the SEA strategy planning processes, aligning regional priorities with APJ & global objectives
  • Drive continuous improvement across the sales organization through PPI and data-driven insights
  • Implement guidelines in coverage design, performance management, and commercial enablement
  • Standardize templates and tools for regional reviews, leadership meetings, and customer-facing engagements
  • Lead 'special projects' that improve commercial field and organizational alignment
  • Lead and drive the SEA marketing agenda to improve brand equity, digital presence, and customer engagement
  • Ensure alignment between global marketing initiatives and regional market needs
  • Guide the team in developing data-driven, customer-centric marketing programs
  • Lead with authenticity, accountability, and a deep dedication to building a “One Thermo Fisher” culture across SEA
  • Represent Thermo Fisher Scientific as the primary spokesperson in Thailand, engaging with customers, partners, industry bodies, and government agencies
  • Support government engagement and advocacy efforts across key SEA markets
  • Work together with internal and external collaborators to discover partnership and policy opportunities
  • Ensure Thermo Fisher’s strategic and public affairs goals are aligned with local market contexts
