Requirements

Candidates must possess 15+ years of industry experience in human-centered design or research, with at least 7 years in people leadership. Director-level leadership experience is mandatory, along with a proven track record of leading high-performing research teams and attracting top talent. Demonstrated success in ensuring a research team delivers strategic business value and deep experience leading teams that deliver both qualitative and quantitative research insights, spanning generative and evaluative research efforts, are essential. Additional qualifications include the ability to attract and retain talent, high ambiguity tolerance, strong written and verbal communication skills, and strategic systems thinking.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Director, Research is responsible for defining a vision, strategic objectives, and outcomes for delivering insights that support every product area. As a member of the UX core leadership team, this role plays a key part in defining how effective experiences are designed and delivered for all user types. The position involves aligning with cross-organizational leaders to define and deliver a comprehensive, 360-degree view of prospects, customers, and users, ensuring all Workmates have access to reliable and easily understandable insights.
