Responsibilities

The Sr. Director, Product – Surgical Digital Health will spearhead the development and execution of product vision and strategy to deliver an end-to-end seamless customer experience. This includes leading a team of product managers to define product requirements and roadmaps for software products and services that drive financial value by simplifying and revolutionizing customer business operations, such as digital supply chain operations, active inventory and order management, and AI/ML-based demand sensing and forecasting. Responsibilities involve engaging directly with Engineering, Strategy, GTM, and Operational roles to enable and deliver solutions, with global market visibility to determine commonalities and unique regional aspects. Key duties include developing the end-to-end product strategy from ideation to production, leading the execution of the Surgical product roadmap and schedule, aligning with global Commercial and Franchise partners, and defining, monitoring product-relevant OKRs and KPIs. The role requires ensuring the product backlog is clearly described, estimated, and prioritized, defining product requirements, writing epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and ensuring compliance with relevant legal, privacy, and regulatory laws. Collaboration with the engineering team to build a global platform, driving successful product launch and user adoption with cross-functional teams, and engaging with internal and external customers for feedback and user needs are also critical. The position involves fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, speed, innovation, and excellence, acting as a thought leader and ambassador for Alcon Surgical digital products, identifying and establishing strategic partnerships with external vendors, and building, managing, and mentoring a team of high-performing product managers and data domain owners.
