Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a science or technical field or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of people management experience in global sales within life sciences
  • Experience in developing and implementing global and enterprise-level sales plans
  • Proficient in CRM (Salesforce) to measure and manage activities, progress, and results
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including presentation skills
  • Collaborative skills, with a talent for building relationships and achieving results in complex matrix organizations

  • Experience working in regulated environments
  • MBA or additional advanced degree
  • Travel for this role is approximately 50% globally

Responsibilities

  • Lead a comprehensive sales approach to accelerate growth across the division's global portfolio
  • Develop regional goals, sales metrics, and assess activities to meet annual targets and strategic objectives
  • Develop yearly and quarterly financial plans and workforce projections for the commercial department
  • Drive price attainment in close partnership with businesses
  • Develop and implement strategies for expanding the customer base and growing new business opportunities ahead of the market
  • Engage technically with customers and align their needs with our value proposition
  • Attract, mentor, and retain commercial talent globally
  • Preferred Background/Qualifications: Preferred background/qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a science or technical field or equivalent experience, 10+ years of people management experience in global sales within life sciences, and experience in developing and implementing global and enterprise-level sales plans
