Requirements
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree of engineering/MCA with good Academic CGPA and possess at least 6-10 years of total IT experience in Software Development, with 2 years exclusively in ETL Design in Data Warehousing projects. Familiarity with Snowflake, SQL Server, MongoDB, and real-time databases is preferred, along with a strong understanding of data architecture and design patterns.
Responsibilities
The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for implementing and executing the Data strategy by building scalable and optimized ETL/Data Pipelines, delivering high-quality data products through data quality and transformations across storage layers, collaborating with business teams to translate product requirements into an efficient data model, and providing secured data access to BI/Reporting teams. They will also define and enforce best practices for data engineering, including coding standards, source control, and CI/CD processes, create automation workflows and orchestrations for data pipelines, understand and align to architecture design principles, monitor and audit logging to troubleshoot issues and provide fixes, and work collaboratively with data architects and other stakeholders to design and develop reusable utilities.
