Sr. Azure Engineer at Selina Finance

The Sr. Azure Engineer will assist in the design and execution of moving on-premises infrastructure, applications, and data to Microsoft Azure. They will participate in evaluating new infrastructure solutions, investigate and test new cloud technologies, and provide cloud user management, security, capacity, and monitoring. Responsibilities include configuring app development tools, migrating on-premises infrastructure to Azure, configuring Azure monitoring and alerts, managing cloud-based Windows and Linux virtual servers, and managing Azure Active Directory Domain Services. The engineer will participate in the build-out and operation of the server environment, work with teams for 24x7 monitoring and response to threats, handle incidents, troubleshoot issues, review vulnerabilities, and assist with Security Incident Response Team activities. They will also review, develop, and implement secure operational processes, adhere to company policies and regulations, and contribute to broader planning. Collaboration with network, storage, and virtual server staff is expected, along with developing maintenance schedules and assisting in the design and implementation of long-term strategic goals for systems and software. Gauging system effectiveness and implementing improvements, along with working on server audits, backup procedures, and disaster recovery processes are also key duties.
