Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally in FinTech or ERP
  • Expertise on product features, tools, and processes (stay up-to-date)
  • Ability to own development: identify knowledge gaps beyond onboarding/training and proactively close them using internal resources
  • High say/do ratio: hold accountable to hitting quota, accurate forecasting, making 50+ calls per day if needed (lost opportunities, cold-calls via Zoominfo, network)
  • Understanding of how CFOs/CAOs/CIOs/Controllers/Treasurers think about business

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue by selling AR automation, collaboration, cash application, and digital payment solutions to senior-level finance executives across North America
  • Convert qualified leads from SDR team into opportunities and close new business at or above quota, collaborating with SDR on outbound targets/campaigns
  • Manage growing funnel of opportunities in Salesforce and other tools
  • Represent Versapay brand: lead account strategy, articulate value proposition, educate prospects on reducing DSO/manual resources and streamlining OPEX
  • Own sales patch: set targeting strategy, travel to meet clients (when possible), represent at trade shows/industry events seasonally
  • Educate/guide prospects through buyer’s journey: qualify business goals to determine Versapay fit for faster payments and better customer experience
  • Create solid relationships with prospects to inspire financial operations innovation
  • Work with Champion to create tailored business cases quantifying AR modernization/automation impact
  • Quarterback deals: coordinate pre-sales with Sales Support/Sales Engineering for accurate pricing, product recommendations, targeted demos
  • Consistently improve internal processes and test new approaches for more revenue and better experiences
